CBGC, A New-Found Love

cbgcI have met a lot of people, godly, saintly, and the like. But this one's life-changing, simple yet unmistakably unique.

It had been quite a while since I last joined a singles' group. Then one day, I said "Yes" to God's invitation. He brought me into this group of entertaining and comical individuals, yet with hearts full of love, nurturing, and care.

Needless to say, I enjoyed my first meeting with them. That magical paradise God brought me into is now a cherished place in my heart. These wonderful people have continuously made wonders in my heart. It isn't ordinary to be part of such group, yet God had wowed me again with His most present gift.

My friends, my sisters, my brothers...my angels. My new loves. In such a short span of time, you've made your way into my heart. Now my heart's wide open and my arms amply stretched to give you more space in this precious life of mine. Mere words are never enough, for your love simply overflows in my heart. Extraordinarily unique.

I've been into distant places, bathed with a potion that only a handful could deter. I have savored life in its fullness, and so I thought. On that fateful day of meeting you, my angels, I unlocked the gate of my solitude and breathed in the air of gaiety and happiness. I'm basking in absolute tranquility, and that is because of you, my friends.

Our paths may go so far-away, but the bond we have woven into our beings will remain strong and vibrant, surpassing any test that will cross our paths.

Be with you today, see you maybe tomorrow, see you surely in God's abode and in life eternal.

PS: Mar Peralta, the best for you is yet to come. We'll always wait for your comeback. And if life becomes a struggle, remember to call on God; He will send you angels, the same people you've met in Feast Alabang's CBCG. God bless you my friend!

Love. Trust. Pain. Forgiveness

March 30, 2013 – It was my special day then. After a series of birthday celebrations from one set of friends to another, my fellow young single ladies and I decided to follow the mob – and off we went to the movie house for the exciting romantic sequel of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz’s “It Takes a Man and a Woman.” I remember myself being so curious of the story line. I kept asking myself: What is it this time? I eventually resigned and anxiously waited for the big twist. If being able to cry during the movie is equated with its high quality, then I would gladly give it two thumbs up. But then again, we don’t measure it through the amount of tears we shed.
